Health Care Maintenance Guidelines for Adults with Developmental Disabilities

Offers guidelines for health care professionals to use in providing health maintenance examinations for adults with developmental disabilities.

Guidelines are published in an easy to read chart format. The chart addresses a variety of health problems for individuals in the age ranges of 19 to 40 years, 40 to 65 years, and 65 years and older. Health problems that are seen more frequently in the population with developmental disabilities and require additional attention are highlighted.
